About the Producer
After studying law in Bologna, Davide Febo decided about 5 years ago to home to Abruzzo to make natural wine and extra virgin olive oils with traditional abruzzese varieties as a family project, basing his farm & winery on vineyards his grandparents on both sides of his family maintained for years, in both Pescara and Chieti areas. Hence their wines have nuances, reflecting these 2 winemaking areas in Abruzzo. His wines and extra virgin olive oils are farmed and made organically, fermented in cement, relying on native yeast fermentation, and are unfiltered.
It is not often thought about, but the wine and olive oil worlds are very similar. Just like with wine, tasting and pairing extra virgin olive oils bring new aspects of the oil to light.
