Steps from the historic center of Montalcino, going northeast, right outside the 'Burelli Gate', you find the sangiovese vineyards and winery of Poder Canalino. This small family run estate, with total 12K bottle production, makes exclusively sangiovese wines, from Brunello di Montalcino DOCG to Rosso di Montalcino to a Rosso Toscana IGT using natural methods, farming organically, without herbicides, pesticides and synthesis treatment, and using native yeast fermentation.
