Before that, the expressive yet balanced aroma hints at this sweetness with notes of candied lychee and rose hips, with the warmth of cloves and cinnamon. Made from the gewurztraminer grape, in the Czech Republic it can sometimes be called “red traminer”, and is characterized by its more pronounced residual sugar and vibrant character.
