Herdade dos Grous | White Wine Blend | Alentejo Portugal
This vegan Portuguese white wine is a blend of grapes native to Portugal. With a bright color and balanced fruit and acidity, it is an elegant and enjoyable wine. A blend of native Portuguese varieties, the main variety present, Antão Vaz, is the most popular grape in the Alentejo region brings body and aromatic qualities. To balance and add acidity, Arinto grape, which also brings a nice minerality, and Gouveio, a grape like verdejo in Spain, which adds ‘salt and pepper’ aromatics are blended in.

Quinta de Valbom | Red Wine Blend | Duoro Portugal
This vegan dry red wine from Duoro is made from a field blend of 100 year old vines, traditionally used to make Port, but instead is made as a dry red wine. Like Port, the grapes are hand-selected, fermentation by stomping feet in granite lagares, which are open vats where wine grapes are crushed by foot thus increasing extraction and tannins. Then the wine is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels before aging further in bottle. Aromas of well-ripened red fruits combine with floral and wood notes to create a structured and complex dry red wine.
