On Sunday June 28th’s VeroTalk we were live with Mother-Daughter winemaker-chef team of Ojai Pacific View. Patti Mitchell was live from their vineyard in Ojai California and her chef daughter, Jacqueline, live from the kitchen of Trattoria Risorgimento in Piedmont, Italy. Ojai Pacific View makes Dolcetto red wine, thanks to inspiration coming from where Jacqueline works and lives, in the land of great wine and food of Piedmont, Italy.
We’re excited to have had with us Suzanne Randolph of The Alix Experience, an amazing resource and community built for women to experience traveling solo around the world, and Jeff Bonafede of Uncorked Hermosa Beach wine store who will be leading the wine tasting.

This rare find, small production Dolcetto grown from a one acre single vineyard in Ojai, California. This 2017 california Italian wine is Ojai Pacific View's inaugural vintage. This wine has aromas of fresh plums, notable acidity to balance out the fruitiness and rustic tannins.

This super small production of California Dolcetto was a late harvest in 2018 resulting in intense, ripe plums compared to its inaugural vintage of 2017, and with spice and tea aromas.
